I hate to bring this up last minute, but within the rules it says the songs need to be at least 2 minutes ): Double check but yea you should have time depending on how this was made. BUT I LOVE THIS

Love the vibe of this song. I rarely rate above 4 stars unless i would download. Well done, i love vibe songs, this is all vibe. love love LOVE what you did. I love the automated arps that you have in the beggining of the song, LOVE that sound, great production there. Love the chords that go along with the guitar as well. LOVE the guitar sound it reminds me of gorillaz. Also very well done on the panning percussion, creates a really nice effect, and I love the use of the click snare almost wooden brush-stick like, instead of hi hats. creates a really nice ambience. This is masterfully done.

Your icon reminded me of a monstercat artist and it freaked me out TBH. Lol. Well done!

This is very good! Well done! great mixing, the bass cuts jst enough for this style. Great 8 bit voices too! One thing is if you were MIXING the two genres i wouldv'e liked to hear some more complicated voices layers on top of the 8 bit sounds, that way it really would be considered EDM. I more or less hear this as an 8bit video game song, IN THE STYLE of an upbeat house or trance. THAT or put some non-8bit feeling drums on top of your 8bit sounds and it wouldve felt like a real mix as well. Masterfully done though I love it!

Thank you very much for the helpful review! :D
To summarize it, there are 2 things: More complicated voice layers, and non-8bit feeling drums. Alright, thanks for the suggestions and I'm glad you like it!! :D

Very well done, love the vibe. Love the mix. Im'a vibe kind of person. The chord progression was a little weird BUT i liked it a lot. (referring to the prior comment), It inspired a; well at this time an indescribable kind of reminiscent?; or transcendent kind of feeling within me. And I LOVE that in a song. I think the only reason the chord progression sounds a little off is because there is little to no voice leading in the opening chords, the strings at the end help define the progression which something to do the same in the beginning would've helped. The progression is perfectly acceptable to the human ear in my opinion though, but it's not what the "human ear" would be used to hearing as it catches people off guard. This is my favorite kind of chord progression though, as long as it's not absolute nonsense, and it creates a little "OHHHh what was thaaaaaat" effect, I LOVE it. Well done and good submission for the knockout round. I've got some great competition.

Love the vibe, great effects and filters on the drums, love the panning to it fucs with my head. very well done. I like the random like old school 8 bit part too. :P keep it up and good luck in the N G A U C!

Very VERY well done. This reminds me of the trance song I did (THOUGH MUCH BETTER) I love the gated sidechain efect leading into the first drop. I WAS LITERALLY like HOLY SHIAT. I love the vibe all the way the throughout. Love the super delay. Love the super reverb, it fits for this song. Love the chord progression, a true masterpiece. And masterfully mixed. Good luck in the NGADM Comp my fellow compettitor!

NICE

Thanks a million for the awesome review good sir, ROCK ON!

This is VERY WELL done, I love your original ideas, the ending is a little abrupt but I love the piece as a whole. The mixing seems to be a little weird and the low ends conflict with the flute but only when there is flute, it may just be my set up but I would possibly look at that. All in all a very good remix! I also did a remix of a zelda song, a song that caught me "right in the feels" just like you! haha check it out if you can!!! Let me know what you think!

I loved the power of the kick in the beginning, could be even a little more, but I liked it, the kick fell flat in the middle on the second variated section, but then came back near the end. I actually really liked what you did with the higher voices/chords above all that was going on on the low end, I do wish there were more of a catchy melody or variation to keep my ears focus on what was going on, maybe some more rising tension leading into a satisfying beat, over all a very good track, and maybe a little more attention to mixing!
